Provence – Lavender, Laughter and Wine

Contrasting colors

The end of June is the ideal time to see the Lavender fields in Provence. We visited several markets that had regional products and wandered the narrow streets. I discovered and fell in love with the scent of verbena and had to allocate premium suitcase space to bring home verbena soap. I also couldn’t resist the beautiful tea towels despite my kitchen drawer already bursting with previous trips treasures.

An amazing photo courtesy of Joanne Johnson – inspiration by Al Poweski And photo edited by Barb combined to make the best photo of the trip. Joanne titled it Dancing Butterfly
Amid the fields and the bees – a bit nerve wracking given my bee allergy

Farewell – Provence, until we visit again!

  1. The lavender fields look beautiful and the villa looks like it was out of a movie! How cool! I hope that your are headed out of France based on what I am reading in the news.
