Shipwrecks can be beautiful

We came upon this beautiful wreck on a zodiac tour of the archipelago . It was very near port so something must have gone terribly wrong.

The Greenland Star
A lovely emblem on the bow

The Greenland Star started operation in 1964 and was wrecked in 1984 by an inebriated Captain running aground.
