Charming Quebec City

You may wonder why I would leave Florida for 9 degrees and snow in Quebec City, but the charm assaults you immediately. What a magical place to get in the mood for Christmas.

The first day in Quebec City was cold, with wind and snow. Each corner presented a more perfect Christmas vignette. Wandering the city included stops for Hot Chocolate and Hot Cider. We tried to order beignets but the booth was out of ingredients. As we wandered through the Christmas Market we heard a French young man chasing after us, he now had the ingredients and didn’t want us to miss out. I probably could have survived without the beignet, but I was enchanted with his charm.

We must bid Quebec City adieu. Tomorrow should be a fun 3 hour train ride to Montreal, the next stop on this Holiday Adventure.
