A Tour of WhimSea

The Salon
More Salon

I’m usually taking fun pictures of WhimSea from the outside but thought some of you might like to see the inside. A decoder for land lubbers: Salon = Living Room, Galley = Kitchen, Head = Bathroom/Toilet, V Berth = Bedroom, Pilot House = Pilot House

When I bought the boat it had 30 year old blue velour fabric on everything. One of my first big projects was reupholstering. Fortunately Lillie, my sister in law, was onboard and we spent many Winter weekends replacing that 1980’s velour and it turned out great.

Well that’s all 37 feet of her. Perhaps someday you’ll get to see her in person. I was hoping to invite crew to share the experience and the locks ropes but the schedule has to stabilize a bit before that can happen.

And….thanks for all the concern and well wishes from the ramming incident. Honestly I’m fine and WhimSea’s just fine.

  1. The interior is beautiful. I am glad Whimsea is not damaged too bad. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your journey. Safe travels
