The old stomping ground included Put In Bay, Middle Bass Island, Sandusky and Vermilion. I also made a brief stop to Cedar Point and filled up on $3.19 a gallon diesel. Since WhimSea sips fuel, I’m calculating I have a range close to a 1,000 miles, no kidding. At 7.3 NM per hour that’s a lot of time in the pilot house. Vermilion was my favorite stop so far. The public docks were in a great location close to the quaint downtown and a spectacular beach sunset.
